All Risks, Ltd. is proud to announce that Kelly Connelly, ARM, AU, has recently been named a 2019 insurance industry “Young Gun” by Insurance Business America (IBA) magazine.
As stated by IBA, this award shines a spotlight on those emerging industry stars aged 35 and younger, providing “an annual look at the young insurance professionals who are inspiring their peers with their expertise and passion for the industry – individuals who have managed to stand out in a competitive pool of talent, some with only a few years’ experience in the business.”
Kelly joined All Risks in 2013 after graduating from Temple University with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. After completing the All Risks, Ltd. University (ARU) program, she joined All Risks' Pest Control program as an underwriter. In only a few short years, she has become an emerging leader in this industry and an expert in this class. Kelly prides herself on being a valuable resource for retail agents across the country by helping them put together insurance policies covering the complex exposures of their pest control clients.
Based on her investment and commitment to the program, Kelly is now All Risks’ lead underwriter and resident expert on the pest control industry. She routinely receives compliments from retail agents for her understanding of this industry and how to create an insurance policy to meet the specific needs of policyholders to properly cover their exposures. Despite a challenging market, Kelly was able to grow the Pest Control program by 25% in 2018.
In addition to holding AU and ARM designations, Kelly was awarded All Risks’ Newcomer of the Year Award in 2014 and Underwriter of the Year Runner-Up in 2018, in recognition of her dedication and commitment to being an expert in the Pest Control niche.
According to Chris Kelleher, Vice President, National Specialty Programs, “Kelly has been a standout performer since she came to All Risks through ARU, and we’re so pleased to see her recognized with this prestigious industry award.”
